The game is easier than the PS1 version ? What do You think ?
Hello,
I have no doubts that i finished the game without serious struggle. I played the OG on my PS1 with my cousin years-years-years ago, and at that time i found the game to be extremely hard. Idk why, but this time I find the game to be much easier, smoother to pass thought bosses, and enemies + the jumping areas were pretty chill this time.
I gotta say I really enjoy the game. It was a pleasure to come back to this classic after years

Ditto. I steamrolled through Jedi difficulty with Quin. Granted, I was down to my last life, but some jumping mishaps and a glitch on the second to last checkpoint chewed through half my lives.

I never played the dreamcast version so I don't know if the gameplay is totally true to the original dreamcast release, but it's definitely a lot easier than I remember. Like some bosses don't seem to have any shot at killing you at all unless you put the controller down and leave it for 5 minutes their attacks just do no damage. The tank in the tank level seems to be literally unkillable, I just accelerate through spamming the attack buttons and rack up tons of points without ever taking any damage. I don't remember it being especially hard but I'd swear at some point in the past I must have died there.

The main difficulty comes from either avoiding having your back to an edge or planter if you're fighting an enemy with uppercut launching attacks(getting hit up on top of some objects can get you stuck in the falling animation and the game resets you at a checkpoint because it thinks you fell off the stage) or levels with nonsense objectives like keeping Amidala or Anakin alive because they run right into your attacks or way far ahead of you where you can't block them from enemy fire and they have no health. Other than that kind of horse crap there's nothing to it.
Level 7 boss definitely feels easier in this version. I remember my brother and me having much more trouble with him as kids. But then again, maybe we were just bad :D

I remember there was a pit in the Level 5 mini-boss armadillo thing (ps1 version). In this version it was flat terrain -- much easier.
Aside from the Krakiss (the armadillo on tatooine), it's the exact same game you remember.

the game didnt get easier, you are just better.
