[SOLVED] Save Data auto-deletes when I close the game

If level-ups are actually a thing in this game that's supposed to save, then does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Okay so @Blowskiol's solution is kindof accurate, but I don't think it's explained properly.

Basically, in order for your progress to save, you have to get any character that gets new combos or stat upgrades upon levelling up to actually acquire one of those combos/upgrades. I was trying to play as characters like Darth Maul, who for some reason gets like no benefits from level ups.

Skipping to the final boss and unlocking NG+ may also trigger a proper save but I am unsure.

If you complete a level and the character hits score milestones and when you close the game you lose progress then... hope Aspyr takes care of this.

I have fully completed 2 levels, and have had the continue button appear. Upon closing and relaunching the game, the continue button disappears. I reran Naboo Swamps to completion a 2nd time to test and it still does it.

Same. beat the 1st level twice now. Everytime I close and re-open the game it only has option for new game

You need to beat the whole level with all the necessary points to fully complete the level. I have no clue why on earth this happens, but this bug is really unacceptable for a remaster.

So as in, when the bar goes up on the level results, it needs to go up all the way and not just part of the way and/or you have to collect and kill EVERYTHING within the level otherwise getting to the results screen doesn't matter and will cause your save to get deleted?

Yes exactly. Easiest way to determine the total points required for each level is by looking at the achievements list. They give you the points amount as a guide.

That is disgusting. But At least there is a temp solution I guess so I will mark this as the answer unless/until something changes.

I am now removing your post as the answer as I finally was able to do this successfully and it still deleted my save.

The issue is not affected by how many levels I complete, how many times I level up, or how the application is closed whether is by a crash, a force close, or by the main menu. I always lose my save data regardless.

I guess I'm just SoL until they patch it.... if they patch it...

Yeah I am hopeful they will patch it as it is a severe issue. I am unable to keep the Ultimate Saber saved to my game save. What a disappointment…

it never saved for me after i unlocked ultimate saber for some reason
