Tomb Raider being the exception.
I agree thoug. I don't really care about this game but its a shame we may never get proper remasters of these games. Still nice to have some sort of updated version but its sad they do the bare minimum sometimes a little bit more sometimes a lot less.
It's very much a missed opportunity.
Dark Forces is upscaled and got a better input system. Nothing about the sprites or in-game models has been altered to a meaningful degree. The game looks as it did in the 1990's still and that's the way it should be.
In this game the models are actually updated slightly from what I can tell, but generally I tend not to be a fan of those since the original graphics are often lost. Fortunately there seems to be a choice between classic and updated much like Tomb Raider got, and that's all I'm asking for, really.

Or Embracer maybe.
My opinion is that they're testing the waters with this one. Ironic, since Ubisoft went all out with Outlaws to produce a mechanically mediocre/inferior product, whereas Jedi Power Battles already offers a great foundation for great gameplay. There's tons of potential there.
The money men do not play games or understand them. They can make great tactical decisions with IPs based on the market, but they would do just as well with any other product.
