Minor quality of life improvements
These may have been addressed in patches since I only played the demo but I figured I would add them here anyway for some feedback. I'd like an option to be choose between holding to crouch or toggling to crouch, a dedicated button to slide as oppossed to a button combo or at least be able to remap it to something a bit less awkward, and when using the submachine scope I think it would make sense if you could use scroll wheel to zoom the scope as opposed to w and s since I found that disorienting since I would try to move and end up zooming in or out more.

Lastly, I think it would be nice to be able to choose specific resolutions for fullscreen and windowed up to at least 1080 but preferably 2160p and ultrawide resolutions for those players. And being able to lock the framerate at 120 and 144 would be nice. As stated in the beginning, I only played the demo, so if some or all of these have these things have been addressed then feel free to disregard. I'm looking forward to the full release!

Framerate is locked at 60fps max because that is how fast the game logic runs and it will be unlikely to be updated (right now it's beyond my abilities to make it faster)

Using just CTRL as slide like in other FPS games like CoD, Titanfall 2, Apex would be nice, but at the same time the button combo doesn't feel that annoying IMO.

This one I agree tho.

That's a shame higher framerate won't be possible but considering I don't think it ever dipped below 60 and its not super intensive that'll be fine. Thank you for taking my suggestions into consideration!

One other thing I wanted to mention is that sometimes there would be six packs of beer/soda lying around and I'd try to pick it up to get the health overcharge and nothing would happen and other times it would happen. I'm not sure sure if it was because they were 6 individuals together and the 6 pack is a separate item but I found that very confusing.

that is interesting - it should allow you to pick them up if your health is 199 or below (let me know if you find any situation or place where you cannot - then it's a bug)

Any chance it'll have achievements? They keep trophy hunters like myself around for multiple plays or to do challenges and such. If not that's okay, also I would like to thank you for the key since I purchased on itch.io already. :steamhappy:

no it won't have any, sorry about that

Does the game currently not offer resolutions above 1080p? I have a 1440p monitor.

Also dev, do you have a Twitter? I'm surprised I haven't heard of your game until today, I follow like every boomer shooter developer on there and they usually cross promote each other.
If not, you should make one and advertise your game a bit on there, people like @DUSKdev would probably check your game out and mention it to his followers.

on fullscreen it uses your current resolution (and should work on all monitors)
(what it doesn't do is changing this resolution when you enter fullscreen)

I only made a twitter account recently - but I don't use it much, only made posts about this game: twitter.com/mutantleg

Do you know if it's exclusive fullscreen or borderless fullscreen? If the former, there's a windowed option, right? Does that use my desktop's current resolution too? If so then I can just use Borderless Gaming or something similar to make it borderless.
And thanks for the twitter link!

it's borderless (and it's safe to alt-tab anytime)
there is a windowed option: you can select pre-defined sizes in the options or just freely resize your game window
only for fullscreen it always uses your desktop resolution

Perfect, should be fine in fullscreen then if it's borderless, thank you!
