Miss Martian deploy

I've had it happen twice now where I tried to play Miss Martian, and when I didn't have any other recruits to remove, she just disappeared (I think back into my hand) at the end of the action, while still taking away my silver resource. Is that a bug? I don't know of any other card where you have to meet some condition or else you're not allowed to deploy (but it will still charge you the resource for merely attempting it).

If there is no other target then she will return herself (she is a valid target of her own action). She is very rarely played due to it working that way. And yes its intended. She specifically says "Deploy: Return a friendly recruit to your hand." The only way she will ever work the way you want is if they change her to be "Deploy: Return another friendly recruit to your hand." Which would exclude her from being a target of her own ability.

Okay, well that's an interesting choice.

While I have you here, there are some times when I'm trying to play action cards on enemies, and I get the "valid target" reticule instead of the X or the aura symbol on an enemy, but then I let go and it just does nothing. Is that something that happens to other players as well?

Can't say that I have seen it, but I didnt play much this last season. The new ranked changes disgusted me. So if its a newer issue then I haven't observed it during my climb to try and get my card back. Which ended in frustration and failure thanks to the ranked changes. I will get off my soapbox about that.

Doesn't bother me, I hate PvP in general.
