New player start with Citizen Sleeper 1 or 2?
New player start with Citizen Sleeper 1 or 2? I have limited game time so let me know whats best, cheers!

start with 1 it is a fast game all things considered with no real fail state. chasing endings will make it somewhat time consuming but those can be ignored if time is an issue.

Start with 1 - it contains the bulk of the lore regarding what a Sleeper is, and has a lot more visceral description of your mechanised body, how you came to be as you are, the general political and physical setup of the game universe, and so on. I'd actually prefer to see more of this at the start of CS2 as well, but the new game begins even moreso in media res, and plunges you straight into things in a way that makes that a little harder to achieve. I think it's a neutral or even interesting choice for a sequel, due to this, but makes the game harder to pick up for new players. You do at least play a different character in each game.
