modern audiences need to be adressed, this game is highly offensive due sexualized depiction of female characters and unrealistic unobtainable beauty standards and suggestive sexual art among other things like possibly racism and questionable characters.
Remember that publishers are making games for people that don't even play games and gotta pander to DEI ideology no matter what. it is how it is.
Tomb Raider remasters did the exact same thing, using a warning and apologizing to DEI and twitter/X folk because lara has breasts or because she's a british high born girl raiding and stealing and desecrating other people's cultures and legacy... wonder why game is called tomb raider LOL
you don't want kotaku and ign getting mad at capcom right?
I mean, who cares about the banner? It's tiny. You only see it on the Steam Storefront. You can customize the banner to whatever you want that your Steam Library users. The game is preserved intact, that matters alot more.
SNK is still very horny on main, look no further than B.Jenet in the upcoming Fatal Fury, they made her even bigger than she is in KOF15.
Really it's only the Chinese versions that see heavy censorship these days.
While I agree with you on most of what you said, please do not bring the Remasters into this.
If you gotta blame someone, blame Crystal Dynamics. They're the ones that put the message there despite having no involvement in the development of the Remasters and are actively working on destroying Core Design's Lara while also running the former devs (Core Design) names through the mud.
A lot of classic TR modders were hired to work on this game, fans that truly love the series. They remastered the games with a lot of accuracy and fidelity (besides the Pierre Dupont vest).

Please take a look at this video for more context and spread the word, they're the bad guys here, not the people that worked on the Remasters.
If you want to boycott something, it's gotta be the next CD game, and not Aspyr's Remasters, have a good day
I'd be more worried about that new Marvel vs Capcom collection, especially since Digital Eclipse is handling it, and they've removed some depictions of nudity and even changed localization in older Capcom fighting games to be more "PC".
In the other hand, modern content warnings are eyeroll inducing as usual.
The game is not, in fact, censored. That's what the disclaimer says.
