An explanation for the warning at the beginning?

I'm kind of confused about this warning.
I played this game before, and I've noticed nothing that is “offensive toward particular ideologies and groups”. Maybe the depictions of angels, or the move Midnight Bliss is considered too much nowadays? The only other thing I can think of is that maybe there's some sort of dialogue between the characters that could be considered offensive, but I never ran into any throughout my playthrough, although there is a lot of dialogue.
Does anybody else know the possible reason why?

Honestly no clue but this is also the era of SNK that had AI that was known for actively cheating so... Maybe the AI design philosophy?

Funny enough, this is probably one of the easiest SNK arcade fighting games that I played, so I highly doubt that that's the reason why. Your comment was funny though.

Every old game that gets brought back is having to get some stupid content warning. Some Karen in loc gets offended by something in the game and now you lose 6 seconds of your life on every bootup.

I would not be surprised if it will just be a general stuff they put to avoid any kind of problems. Like the famous "people in this product are in no way related to anybody who ever existed..."

i get triggered by them, because I hate all splash screens! The first "mod" that I do to all my video game, is remove all splash screens! I don't want to wait 5 seconds to play my video game.

Yeah gamedevs should realise that watching their logo like 5 times is more than enough. Let us desactivate it after that.

The logos and disclaimer and skippable once loading of assets are complete. Consider it a loading screen until then.

If you are a developer, do you know the specific reason why the warning was implemented? Like what exactly was possibly offensive to “particular ideologies and groups”? What are these ideologies and groups that could find offense in this game?

many such cases. sucks that we couldn't gatekeep those kinds of people from the gaming industry until they really started swarming it

Have we really fallen this far? I'm sick of this. I'm just so tired of it all.

Edit: The original image extends down to Athena in her bikini armor and Red Arremer at the bottom but the western version fades to black now just above Athena's chest. Also, the sides of the image are cropped just a little.
