It's been 3 years today. Again, one cannot help but think of how different the world has become from the one he left. Also, it turns out that most of the videos, interviews and articles featuring Alec are no longer available online; not sure whether it's a result of deliberate actions or just an unfortunate coincidence, but this is very sad regardless.

Four years today. I've noticed that one of the videos of his public talks which had previously disappeared from youtube, was recently uploaded again, in case anyone's interested.

Alec Holowka would have turned 40 today. It would be great to see it somehow “celebrated”, e. g. by someone sharing some old unpublished/unfinished game stuff or some memories, but at least I can make this tiny annual post just to show there are people who care about the person, not just the “case”.

I didn't know about what happened until well after and this is very sad. May his family, friends, and fans be able to deal with this. May this never happen again.

I only just found out about this, so sad - Aquaria was such a wonderful game, and the world is worse off without Alec in it. I raise a glass to you Alec, may you rest in peace.

Today marks five years since Alec's death. I cannot find any Aquaria-related videos (like interviews) anymore, so here's a part of the OST.
I'd like to replay it some day.

The forums are down as well from the waybackmachine, locked. So probably deliberate. I copied Alex's words down from the end game discussion. It's a pity, since I am currently writing a story of with multiple periods of the post game, are there any other writers for Aquaria anyone knows of? Or any copies of the material other then in game files? That would be great.
