Jellyfish boss ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard
So I am trying to remember why I played this game for so long then just stopped one day. I started replaying a few days ago after a few years break and I remember...The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Jellyfish boss in the abyss. This thing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible. I watched a guy on youtube do it and the mobs of jellyfish just sit there all in a nice row and for some reason stop so he can eat 20 all at once. The lasers barely do any damage and are slow as ♥♥♥♥. When I play the jellyfish full on mob me to the point where i cant even move until my rush respawns and then I only get to eat 2 or so even if I try to maneuver into a good spot the jellyfish stop me and because there are so many not only do I not have a chance to fire at the nucleus but I cant move to avoid the lasers which do crushing damage.
I am about ready to give up again and ♥♥♥♥ this game off to eternity but I really wanna finish it. Can someone give me some help or tips. Im at my wits end especially since the closest save point is still a few minutes swim away from the boss.
Cheers

Never stop swimming in circles and only turn into beast form when the smaller jellyfishes start cluttering your space (and its fine if you don't eat them all, just kill as many as you can in one or two dashes to clear the way a bit). If you can't concentrate enough on dodging the lasers, then maybe avoid attacking it while its shooting them, and just focus on not taking damage. Try to stay calm. This fight isn't hard, it just takes time and requires a lot of patience and stamina.

Also, if you really can't do it, don't worry, it isn't required. This boss only unlocks a suit for Naija (it is really useful since it gives her regenerating health once she goes low, but its really not that big of a deal).

(btw, a quick reminder: Eating the smaller jellyfishes gives you a little bit of health)

thanks man will give it a try another time. those mob jellies fully stop me from moving i wonder if beast mode attracts them more than energy mode.

If I remember correctly dual form is very good against that boss.

Sure! Good luck, pal :)

And also, yeah, Hoshi's right. Since this fight is optional, you can avoid until you have that form, it'll make things easier.

Yeah I can't beat this boss either. I can't even survive for very long. Like, it's impossible for me to eat the small jellyfish faster than they are being generated, and if I don't, I quickly don't even have any room to maneuver. I don't see how this is possible.

The only thing I've figured out is the shortcut to the boss from the save point, so that might help out someone. There's a rock you can move that takes you into a little ringed room with a bunch of crabs. You have to be careful not to get hit by them, basically stick close to the entrance until a few come over to you and then go past and at the back of the room is a small crack, turn into fish form and swim through and you'll be right at the boss entrance.

It might help people with the same issue since this appears in google searches, what's your problem?

Not a problem, its just that the issue has already been resolved with a very clear answer, might I add. Would still pop up in google searches.

regardless of when I posted it, I would prefer people continue to comment with tips and tricks. It does help other people and might help me should I choose to play the game again one day.
