U know why the ''New alpha dog mechanism is garbage as trash'' ?
i like your work. Really. U have my respect.
and here is some criticism after good words;

so after the update i felt these at my gameplay;

First of all Mech fells much slower than before.
about the alpha dogs;

Now this thing is not ''forget everything and run'' enemy, i can give u that. now '' just wait and die' enemy.
i do not need to be informed ''here is some tips to deal with it ''
i already know.

The '''REAL''' problem is;

its hard to hit ''behing the head'' for most of the players. Our playing area is kinda not big u know?
its hard to make that move without punching the wall or something.

so if u dont like the excuses that i just writed about alpha dogs, take a look at this:

just got faced with 4 of them at the same time after kiling 2 of them ( total of 6 alpha dogs) just before ''Ussam'' fight.
i can deal 1 or 2 at the same time but 6? really? Before the boss?

This game needs to be balanced. specially alpha dogs.

Can u make it slower?
Less damage?
Overheat?
Can be spawn 1 or 2 max at the same time?
More cooldown?
bites less long?
Or just buff it more add spies, make it bigger, paint it black, add armourand add it as a ''mini'' boss like the freaking dinosour with dogs. İts your call boss.
u can give us accesibility, by at least choosing the ''difficulty'' or ''turn off the alpha dogs'' or whatever.
all i see at this section and the update comments is;

New alpha dog mechanism is garbage as trash, needs to be balanced.
have a good day.

I think I hear two things:
1 - difficulty scales without players knowing, which can lead to absurdly hard situations never seen before. while this is by design, we should let the players know and tune down the difficulty if they struggle. we're already on it.
2 - new alphas are more aggressive which requires you to move more. would this still be an issue if you only faced 2 alpha dogs? would it still be an issue if they charged from more distance? in short, we'll have to try and gather more feedback and see if we can find common patterns to address without changing the broad strokes of the new design.

Sounds like a you problem.

If you don't have a suitable place to play a room scale VR game, then guess what? You shouldn't be playing room scale VR games. You need to be able to swing your arms at full extension to play this, if you can't do that; then you shouldn't have bought this game.

The rest of your thread is just skill issues and whining.

Yes, you do.

This guy was complaining about them too, then he figured it out, they are easy to dodge; git gud.

Bro im not here to be ''disrespectful''
But focus on ''really asked''

The 'room' that im playing is enough. That's not the POİNT my dude. i did not asked for room expand from the developer.

As i said i do not need it. i Know. its acceptible to counter atleast 2 of them maybe, maaaybee 3. i respect that. that needs skill. im ok with it.

What i DONT respect is;
'''The rest of your thread is just skill issues and whining.'''

So how can u explain the 6 of them? just before the boss fight tho (its first arena boss)

Six of them is also '' easy to dodge'' ?
can u deal with 6 alpha dogs? Sounds like u can. But i can not.
The first arena is small for 6 alpha dogs. Even for ussam itself.

What i am ''REALLY'' saying is game needs to be '''balanced'''. As i mentioned.

Im not here to be 'rude'
My native language is not English. Sorry if Im misunderstood by anyone.

But,
We will sit crooked and talk straight.
Balance or the ''accessibility'' i mentioned is needed.

i know developer has other plans. They are important but balance... balance is importanter.

have a %150 gooder day General.
And try not to punch the walls while u dealing with 6 alpha dogs! Be safe.

1. Yeah, a notification that the difficulty has increased upon reaching the appropriate benchmarks would be nice. Dropping it back down if the player suffers several repeated losses would be helpful as well.

2. Well, obviously 6 of them at once is pretty extreme, but other than that I love how they work now, its a huge improvement over their original mechanics; maybe just cap the maximum that can be out at one time to 3 or 4?

Dear Prix,

Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful response.
I truly appreciate the time and effort you and the development team are putting into balancing the game.

I understand that the difficulty scaling is intentional, and I respect that it’s designed to provide a challenge.

That said,
My feedback was simply to share my experience and perspective as a ''player''. I completely understand that balancing şuch complex systems can be tricky, and I’m grateful that you’re open to adjusting the difficulty based on player feedback. The idea of reducing the number of alpha dogs or adjusting their charging distance sounds like a good start, and I’m happy to offer more input if it would help.

I also appreciate your invitation to the Discord community, but sadly Discord is forbitten in my country.
Anyway, Again thank you for being receptive to suggestions, and I look forward to seeing how the game continues to Rise.

Wishing you a %200 wonderful day and continued success with the project!

Best regards,
Erkek

Update: I just came to make sure you know about the new patch, which should solve some of the frustration regarding the new difficulty changes. It won't solve everything, but it should mitigate a lot until our next big update.

I'm super bad but I've had no problems hitting the head if I really get in the weeds. Though I do have to move my couch and coffee table to get the right room (and head)space for this game.

Thank you for your kindness! I'm looking forward to it!
I mostly feel like having an enemy that could go turbo and overheat was a really unique mechanic and the fact that it taught new players “turbo makes enemies strong, overheat makes them weak” was really nice, i mostly just want another enemy that does that again
