1. If you do not have SteamVR installed, install SteamVR and try again
2. Try to opt into the “last stable” beta channel. Right click underdogs->properties->beta
haha ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, sorry for all the hassle, but happy to hear it's finally all up and running.
My Index constantly starts now when trying to use my Rift CV1 with Meta OpenXR.
My CV1 is dead now, worked perfectly a few weeks ago. - When the game launched 25 January, I could play perfectly using Meta OpenXR with the Rift CV1 - or Index with SteamVR.
Why destroy things that worked greatly?
Really close to writing a negative review now - my son uses the CV1.
Note that Underdogs is not Early Access - do not significantly change the game that your customers liked and supported.
Yes, but even disabling Steam OpenXR and setting OpenXR to Meta does not help, SteamVR always takes over - and the game will not start without Steam running.
Using Steam, finding the game in your library, there is a great big green PLAY button. Now using some (older) games, when pressing PLAY, this will bring up a menu to allow you to choose between SteamVR, native Oculus drivers and more - why not do that? Let your customers choose what they want?
Thanks, also from my son with his Rift CV1 :-)
Hey there, we've just released update 1.0.3 that includes a way for you to force the Oculus runtime by making Oculus the active OpenXR runtime (from the Oculus client app > Settings > General)
