Mouse right click wont get commands trough hw1 classic

I have an odd issue that i have had never before, when i right click like "selected group to dock with mothership" it wont do that. I hear the beep what you would normally hear when clicking right mouse button but nothing happens, nothing does anything. only the sound.
have i borged up something or is this known issue?
this happens in hw1 classic. remastered is ♥♥♥♥♥

ps. i have uninstalled and installed the game again and deleted all remaining data files, but no.
i have also installed new mice program too but no effect.
So what the f next?
delete game and never play it again like the dissapointment remastered version of hw and also hw2 story is.
