Does "Homeworld 2 Classic" work with Win7 64-bit and does it have widescreen support?

Thats a good question. I cant imagine they wouldnt make it run on the most systems. If anything you have to use the start program with windows ? but I still play homeworld 2 and it runs fine on windows 7.

I do have HW2 classic on a disc which is working on my win7 64-bit and i had to add a line on the shortcuts target destination like this C:\\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Homeworld2.exe -w 1920 -h 1080 to fit it to my resolution

But if you're referring to the copies that will be included in this remastered release I am sure it will be supported ^^

I have both the original classics on disc with official patches and both worked without issue on Win 7 64bit.

the original HWs run on W7 but have some problems with W8.1. The classic versions Gearbox is giving MIGHT be updated to work on the newer systems
