My single-player has sort of... vanished?

I was re-playing a level and skipped a short cinematic with the escape key because I had just seen it, and the game sort of... froze. It was the part where you first meet the Bentusi and they offer you ion tech in exchange for 500 RP. I couldn't click their ship, and I realized I couldn't pan the camera, I couldn't even hit escape to save/reload/exit. All I could do was rotate the camera or switch between groups.

So I alt-tabbed out and force-closed the application. When I went back in, I found this. http://i.imgur.com/44NEF8O.png My single-player button is just... missing. I closed and reloaded and it isn't coming back. What exactly has happened, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Are you trying to run from the launcher in Steam? or from the .exe file?

I thought it was from the desktop shortcut, but without realizing I'd been using a toolbar shortcut... However you knew, you're right, that's what it was. Opening it from the regular desktop shortcut works normally, it's the evil pinned toolbar shortcut that's wonky.

I thought I was going mad not seeing the Single Player option in the menu. I wouldn't have known to use a shortcut as I always launch via Steam itself. Hopefully it's just a bug and not a "feature".

*Edit* Solved. Make sure the 2 "DLC"'s are checked and downloaded. Start game as you would normally.
