How pc demanding is Homeworld?
I have a rather crappy laptop when it comes to gaming (i7-4500u (2.8ghz boosted), gt750m, and 16gb ram)
I can run other rts games just fine like company of heroes 2 and supreme commander. This game looks very good graphically so I was just curious how demanding this game is. Do you think i can get a stable 60fps on maybe medium or low settings? I've tried looking this up myself but there isn't much info as the game just came out. I never played the original Homeworld and just found out about this game and it has me really interested.

This runs very well. You should be able to get high fps on very high settings

My setup is quad 2.0ghz (throttled to that for reasons) gt750m and 8gb ram. I've got all of the settings on "enhanced" except for shadows (fps killer) depth of field, motion blur and vsync (hate the effects). I've played for a few hours and (while I have not used any tools or options to verify this) it feels like it has not dipped below 60fps at all.

Your computer will be fine with this game.

It certainly runs better then the old Homeworld 2. Just ended a 1:30 hour game with 5 computers in a massive 3vs3. Didt got a single FPS drop when the swarms of fighters frigates and later destroyers were shooting around. With my PC the same game in HW2 would cause stuttering. on a "High" unitcap.

Yeah I just finished the 2nd campaign mission and so far so good, I have everything on max except normal lighting, AA off, and normal shadows, also on 1920x1080. Although there hasn't been any big battles yet I never get fps drops except for looking at the light source on the map, that always drops the fps enough to notice it but other than that seems like a solid 60fps

My laptop is several years old and below the minimum graphics card requirement. I've had no slowdowns at all and it all looks beautiful.
