Homeworld Remastered No campaign !? [Solved]

Hello,

I am utterly disappointed by this. I thought this game had an actual single player campaign.
Apparently, I'm mistaken.

I'm pretty sure the original game had a campaign so why is Homeworld Remastered Skirmish only ?

And there is not even mutliplayer. Really stupid not to put multiplayer in...
What do you think, guys ? Definitely not worth the purchase..

EDIT : The problem was solved. Running the game directly through the .exe launches a different version of the game, apparently. V1.2 with a "beta" logo on the top left. This version does not have a campaign option and is skirmish only.

To make sure this doesn't happen, use the launcher.

I hear you need to download those free "classic" DLCs, those contain the campaigns.

EDIT: I mean, I have those downloaded and I'm playing the HW1 campaign right now.

When I get to the main menu, I have the following :

Tutorial
Player Vs CPU
Player Profiles,
Options
Movies
Exit

Play Tutorial first :]

Rightclick on your game in Steam -> Properties -> DLC -> activate both HW1 and HW2 (don't worry, despite getting called DLC they're free) and let the game download the campaign.

Ok, I played through the tutorial and both DLCs are indeed activated. I still have no campaign option and no multiplayer either...

The Skirmish works, it's just that there is no campaign option nor mutilplayer option
