Windows 10 crash on launch

Classic Homeworld & Homeworld 2 seem to work without issue, but Homeworld and Homeworld 2 remastered both launch to black screen before crashing. I've tried making them run in compatibility mode for Windows 8, but that didn't work.

i7, GeForce GT555M, 8G RAM

Dont use Windows 8 or 10 for Games, Windows 7 is recommended for Games.

Yeah, happen to be running Win10. Game is Win8 compatible.

Update if you find a solution. Im on W10 and I dont plan on going back to 8. Everything I have tried (games and apps) is running fast and stable (not a single crash).

I was planning on getting this at some point, but if its not compatible with W10 Im not going to bother.

PS: Loved these games. I even have my original Raiders Retreat and Cataclysm discs.

Yeah, looks like it's not Win10 compatible. Every other game has no issue as far as I can tell on Win10TP (9926). Error dump shows the game has no idea what OS it is launching on -

Yes, its not released game, but I have pretty huge Steam library and I havent had any problems with any of them and BF4.

At least Khan reports its working on his, so its probably not W10.

I am sorry for you, but all four games run fine on my rig. (win10)
Remastered requires OpenGL 3.3 (DX10 cards) and I guess you are using up2date drivers?

In fact I noticed win10 forced me to install Nvida 350+ish drivers which arent released yet.
I reverted back to 347.52 maybe this helps?

Try repairing your Visual C++ Studio redistributables... or installing the redistributables if they aren't present.

Finally i found some other people that play this game and use windows 10. I've been running into the same problem. whenvever I launch Homeworld 2 Classic the it goes into black fullscreen like it's starting, but then the start menu appears then it crashes.
