Where can I find a working .big extractor?

Every Big Extractor I found did not work.

I decrypeted the rm.bigs.
Than I searched the internet for big extractors and tried them with the original Homeworld bigs and with the decrypeted remastered bigs.

Tried FinalBig... did not work. ( error : fileformat not compatible )

WinBigW ... did not work. ( error 6 - overflow error )

Removed all Spaces in the paths, my bigs are now in E:\download\bigs ... so no spaces in the path. But no extractor worked.

Downloaded the old toolset from relic, but run into the problem of many missing dlls. And I read that some of the dlls are no longer in use, because they had security holes. So I do not want such files in my win32 folder.

What extractors do you use?

The Archive.exe tool included in the Toolkit should allow you to extract files from the unencrypted .big file. You'll have to run it from a Windows Command Prompt window.
