Installing Mods on GOG version

I just bought the GOG version and I was curious on how do I install mods with that version? Is it similar to the old HW2 mod setup?

i dont mean this in a negative way, but youd probably be better off asking on the gog forums.

If there is no launcher for it as you have here you should paste mod files into bin release folder, create new shortcut and add mod specifick line after "" in command line

This is important for me as well. Here's hoping that Gearbox addresses this.

No there is a launcher, the only thing they didnt add is a command line interface

I don't think it would be possible to install mods from Steam (if thats what you are asking) as Steam dosen't know you own the game haveing not purchased it from Steam.

Except that's what i did with door kickers from GoG, which is why i posted it. Mods from steam worked perfectly from it.

Because that game apparently has a system built in to do that. Homeworld does not.

Mods arent platform limited its just a way you launch them, all files should be in data folder and you need shortcut with command line to call for those files...

Thought so. so it is very similar to the old method of installing mods from the HW2 CD version.

Yes but keep in mind until HODOR gets out (open moding tool) non of HWR mods aint gonna work cuz of 2.0 patch
