Edit 1: apprently only total coversion mods for Homeworld 2 remasterd are causing the error.
Remember most mods are portet and a few functions have newer Versions that should be used over the old ones. Maybe they missed to change one to the new version. It's just the first release on the updated engine. Give it some time.
"Error parsing 'DEATHMATCH.LUA' -- FATAL EXIT -- gameruleslibrary/134:! --stack trace--"
file location:
"\Steam\steamapps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release\HwRM.txt"
Anyone else get this error? I have verified the local game files.
EDIT: Well. That doesn't work. I tried to reset my Player Profile with the Mods added. Didn't work. Still get the General Error. Then I deleted my Player Profile and created a new profile. Same thing. Then I restarted my computer. The same darn thing. Tried to play the Original Homeworld and it just froze when I tried to play the Campaign. Also tried to Verify Game Cache and reinstalling the game. Still happening. What in the world is going on here!?!
Anakin736 do you get:
"Error parsing 'DEATHMATCH.LUA' -- FATAL EXIT -- gameruleslibrary/134:! --stack trace--"
in the txt file:
"\Steam\steamapps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release\HwRM.txt" ?
in the txt file:
"\Steam\steamapps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release\HwRM.txt"
Do you have this error?
"Error parsing 'DEATHMATCH.LUA' -- FATAL EXIT -- gameruleslibrary/134:! --stack trace--"
I checked and you're correct. I'm also getting that line. Please let me know if you get a hold of Gearbox. Thanks!
