The last update to the game came on June 10, 2016. Another update is DEFINITELY not going to happen. Period. You're much better off spending time trying to enjoy the game as-is rather than throwing a penny into the wishing well.

You are wasting your time.

I would bet that even if some core OS update/change universally renders the game unplayable for EVERYONE who maintains their OS there still would not be an update.

I'm going to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out for reiterating the hard truth of the matter but that's fine with me.

You must be special or something. The game supports 3440x1440. So yes, it is what you asked for.

You're right and very odd, when I went to my res settings it only showed the higher ultrawide , I log on today and 3440x1440 is in there :)

3440x1440 for me shows black bars. I cant get natural 3440x1440 to work

I know I'm raising the dead here, but with the new HW approaching I figured some others, like myself, may revisit this.

I wasn't able to get Ultrawide to work either. I had the black bands on each side as well. I just had to pick a lower resolution, apply the settings, and then re-select my native resolution and the black bands went away.

yea that will never happen, hw remastered is complete, there will be no new features

Change Fullscreen to Windowed. Then 3440x1440 will work just fine.
