Please add Homeworld Emergence to Steam

Please add Homeworld Emergence on Steam we the whole homeworld collection can be bought here. Homeworld Emergence is easily the best one with the best voice acting and story and would really like to experience it even without a remaster. Or at least add it in to the collection since it also has HW1 and HW2 classics.

I wouldn't mind it Catacylsm on steam at all, even in its original appearance. if GoG can do it, i don't see why Steam can't do it either.

Unfortunately a remaster is impossible, during the handover from relic to rockstar Vancouver the source code for cataclysm was lost. When GoG made it avaliable it was then renamed to homeworld Emergence

Ah Catacylsm. Probably my favorite entry of the Homeworld Franchise. So good.

But sadly, like rover stated, the source cose is lost :(.

There's a mod that is under development, GBX should get these guys on board and make a remade of it for the sake of posterity.

I got this game gog but sadly it's crash lot, I had no issues with homeworld 1 and 2, just that game, my fav, it's petty cool to see your miner ship into command ship with death ray beam, but final boss enemies ship is so fast and deadly.

essentially the story for emergence is that blizzard owns a copyright on the word cataclysm which made it impossible for it to be sold anywhere and so gog stepped in to sell cataclysm but change the name to emergence and even changed the titling themselves so that relic wouldn't have to. essentially emergence is always gonna just be a gog exclusive as steam almost certainly has no interest in taking this step themselves because they just simply don't care enough.

That would be a GBX responsibility and intention to make it available on STEAM - not STEAM
