in start of game how do you defeat carrier?? EDIt i beat it.. but next mission is impossible..

It didnt tell me to build fighter craft "luckily i did" but it sent a carrier can my corvettes and fighters do barely any damage... How do they expect you do beat this thing?? I built as many combat ships as could with resources and they destroying all of them -- beat it.

But now at start of next mission while my ships unloading a group comes in and destroys cryro chambers... but time my ships get there in enough numbers to matter they destroy all the things supposed to save?? retried it dozen times sending ships immidiatly to spot as they undock but still didnt help "i even cheated in dozen extra ships...". I dont remember this being so impossible when i bought game years ago before remaster.

If you're talking about mission 2, don't try to fight the carrier, you can't kill it...at least not without a really huge swarm of corvettes which you probably don't have the money for. I think it just hyperspaces away even if for some reason you're able to heavily damage it. Anyway, just kill or capture enough of the small enemy ships, the carrier will run away, and you win.

I havent gotten to steal many ships. My salvagers seem to take to long and ships keep shooting even though game says they disabled.

In the last part of the mission before the Cryo chambers set up control groups (select group, press CRTL + the number you want to assign) then at the start of the cryo mission while the game is telling you what to do you can press the numbers and give orders before the game "resumes"
You should be able to save most of the chambers if you act before the game actually wants you to.

I found a guide on it. So i preset salvagers as one group and healers as another. then soon as i could i sent combat in front of cryo. and then other to at cryo and healers to one they attack first.

Was a massive pain with out the tips i was given.

Simple M3 H1R - in M2, recycle all strike crafts and have ONLY salvage corvets. Then hyperspace out to M3. There should be only 2-3 assault frigates.

took a few tries. And removing some ships... but next try it went lot easier. I also have a mod i found that gave them a little extra health lol

Those seem to take forever to capture anything. ive had 3 set on one ship before and id swear 8 mins later still dancing around the target.

Heh, yeah the scaling and me ended up in a war back in the day.
I ended up editing the spawn in part of the savegame and I filled with heavy cruisers, extra Sajuuks towards the end of the game just to get the edge on firepower and to overpower this annoying algorithm of the game.

Bombers are under-rated but its the way to go~protected by fighters
