Is there any HD mod for Homeworld 1 CLASSIC?

Does anyone know HW1 >CLASSIC< mods that improve its looks and maybe ui?

I found remastered hard to enjoy with the totally botched conversion to HW2 mechanics.

You still found the 2.0 patch and 2.205 current version with the retooled movement engine and formations engine unsatisfactory?

I think it has to do with HW1 not being HW1 but being HW2 with out dated UI and non-HD looks.

Well, I remember back from the Relicnews forums that there was a mod that enabled either looking out of a ship's cockpit or even controlling it. That was years ago, and I don#t remember the specifics. Other than that, HW1 was not very mod friendly. If the OP kindly asks, I can have a look into my ancient archives. I should be able to find at least a Babylon 5 mod for HW1.

lol I know it's been a year since the last post here, but I'm not sure the OP was looking for a babylon 5 mod.

If it's any help to anybody, here's a link I found for the Homeworld Splendor mod, which allows you to set the resolution up to 1920x1080 in OpenGL mode only:

Sadly, it looks like the Remastered version has taken over the high resolution mod that was originally in development.
