Cant connect to server at all !!!

i just got this game and registered. I went back into the UI to sign in and get into server but it says that connection has failed check your internet connection. Nothing wrong with my connection. What is up?

Not sure, the master server was up and running today.

If you use external firewall, make sure it lets RoF through. You need to open some high port numbers to guarantee working MP, but I can't remember which ones.

Another common problem is DNS; RoF master server is hosted on Amazon cloud and sometimes the DNS servers of internet providers have problem with keeping its IP number up to date. Switching our DNS server from "default" to Google DNS (8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4) helps most often.

CHeck your Anti-Virus Program and set it to allow the game to play through your Firewall.
Sometimes a game will not play ONLINE due to this.
Try Playing the Game Offline first to confi9rm this problem will you?
If it starts in Offline Mode, then that's the problem.

I think the Anti-Virus is interfering. Needs to play the game in offline mode to confirm this!

Thanks all. I would log in offlinle but I am new and the message says to connect online first to get the offline data to my pc. I have MSE virus protection. I will turn off realtime protection just to try and see if that works. then configure it after confriming that.

no, just go to the Firewall in the internet connection on your antivirus program, and "ALLOW" the "Game' to play!

On tthe Firewall there should be an ADD BUTTON somwhere, then you just browse to find out where the ROF.exe file is to start the Program up. It should look something like this if your Steam Program is in the C:\ (Hard Drive)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rise of Flight 2.0\bin_game\release\
If it is, just copy and paste it in your file explorer search area

ok, checked firewall and this program is one that is allowed through. Also checked DNS and apparently Comcast does not allow a user to cnage the DNS whether primary or any. So will keep trying to find solution.

channel server, instead of this typing thing

thanks for all your help JustNeil2. I know of Teamspeak. My antivirus doesnt firewall. Windows does it. I checked it to make sure.

Go to the Teamspeak sight I posted and find an Admin, or Member of the =nw= for help. Those people are good ppl.
