How to Activate your Rise of Flight DLC after buying from Steam

Here's a concise guide on how to activate your Rise of Flight DLC after buying them from Steam.

1. Launch the Rise of Flight game from Steam.
2. The game will prompt you to create a new account on the Rise of Flight website. Do it. It's easy. You'll need to create a username, supply a valid email address, and choose a password.
3. Exit the Rise of Flight game and launch it again from Steam. Steam will open a pop-up window which has activation key codes for ALL your purchased DLC. It will also tell you to go to https://riseofflight.com/store/license-keys/ where you must input the DLC activation key codes in order to access the DLC content in the game. Do it. It's simple and easy.
4. Exit the Rise of Flight game and launch it again from Steam. The game will have all your DLC ready to use.

2. Already have an account and have for at least the past 2 years
3. NOPE - doesn't happen that way. Gotta use the Activate New Key option on the 1st loading page of ROFU. Sends you to the riseofflight web page with a paste key here. Did it. Key activated. I pasted in some of the keys for previously purchased DLC's just to see what would happen. Web page showed Key already activated as it should have for each previously activated key (most from a couple of years ago).
4. Done

New DLC still shows in cart. Key also shows already activated.

Every time I try it says code invalid even though it never activated and I copied it straight from the pop up
