(as I look at your games list you all ready have it).
But if your looking for more WWI content; then yea its really good, and a steal at summer sales.
I would recommend to buy it directly from their web site.
https://riseofflight.com/
The game requires the user to set up an account on the Developer's website which necessitates an E-mail address and password. Account registration is required so, if or when, you purchase additional airplanes, maps &/or campaigns that your purchases can be re-downloaded in case the game become corrupted or you experience a computer failure.
And, your E-mail address is not sold or passed on to third parties.
I would recommend that you download and "try" the basic game before you make any decisions whether or not to purchase any additions (DLCs). The game can be played with a mouse but, the mouse was never intended to be the primary, or best, controller.
If you already own a "twist handle" joystick then you should be set to go.
Only purchase add-ons (DLCs) when Steam has a sale. EVERYTHING for the Rise of Flight game can be purchased for $44.90 US on sale.
I personally have played Rise of Flight since 2009 and I haven't ever had any troubles caused by viruses, spyware or malware related to this game.
i hope this information helps reduce your anxiety or concerns you might have with Rise of Flight containing spyware, malware or viruses.
Good luck
Those people calling it spyware I think are just mad because you need to make an account just like you do for Great Battles (made by same devs). It's certainly not the only games I've played that need you to make an account, just look at games like Train Sim World or Elite Dangerous for example.
There was an issue with Great Battles a few years ago someone discovered that one of the game files, you could open in a text editor and it showed your account password, the file was not even encrypted or anything. I and many others though don't believe it was intentional in any way and the issue was fixed a long time ago so don't believe the rumors of it being spyware, that is crap.
