unable to get passed new registration stage

In steam, downloaded ROF, registered but confirmation E-mail never arrives.
Went direct to the ROF website and tried registering there but when put in my E-mail they say that E-mail is already used (because of previous attempt through Steam) - so I must have an account.
When I put in my password they say its incorrect.
When I say I forgot my password please send new one to my Email they say I have no account.
Is it possible to register and play this game anymore August 29 2020

I would recommend that you contact Rise of Flight's customer support.

Once you get to their support page select: "I can't create an account" in the "Choose a Subject" drop-down menu box. Then, describe the problem that you are experiencing in the description box.
Their customer service is slow to respond but, they should be able to help.

if you're getting the error #4 "wrong user name or password" you need to enter your password and email into the startup.cfg file that is located in riseofflight/data. enter it where it says to enter your username and password

Can you find your user name/password in your Chrome (or other) settings? You may think you know it, but maybe you're slightly off.

Editing the setup.cfg didn't help.
Did get a response from 777 that essentially said to look at my Spam folder for the activation email they sent - nothing there.
I tried creating a new email account and tried registering a second time - again no activation email.
I'd be interesting in hearing from anyone who has recently been able to register and start playing this game.

I was never able to find response email in my inbox or spam, yet when I did a search for riseofflight i did find it (don't know why i couldn't see it before)
Try
in your email do a search for "riseofflight" and see if you find the activation email sent.
