Multiplayer Unplayable Bugs

My friend's and I have tried 4 runs or so, 1st one we were able to get to floor 30+, but since then we've gotten stuck at the chest stage early in the game, makes us have to restart, even when we try to restart, one of us gets stuck as "no character" unable to buy items or anything. Anybody else experience this with Multiplayer?

Really bummed because we really had fun getting far, I like the new update. The bugs make it frustrating to try and play multiplayer. At the very least this lets the devs know.

When you chose saving and exit, you both should restart the game and continue the run again.
Yes, sadly there are many bugs that break the game.
