Game is not launching anymore (no response from the game)

A few days ago, my game was working normally and then after a game crash i was not able to load it up anymore.
When i start it in steam, the small game window shows up, sound starts in the background but then the game stops responding and it starts ramping up my RAM usage in the Task Manager..
I tried to use backup save files but nothing seems to work..

a friend has the same issue, we can't seem to find a solution, he already re-installed the game, deleted his save file, tried to rollback to a backup save file and nothing.

I had the same problem in the first time i played the game and reached the floor 80+ .
Apparantely what is causing the game to be like this , is our save game getting to be big and the game having problem to load it because of his size.

How I fixed this was pretty easy , just goes to the main folder of the game there will be 2 folders only inside of that one called Assets and the other one is a numbered folder.
The numbered folder is our game save , i deleted the numbered folder and openned the game again without a problem. Theres another thing you should be aware of , is disabling the Steam Cloudy save in the steam , otherwise will bug again because the game will try to load the cloud save and since the save is too big the game will not respond again.
The downside of this is that you may lose the Borders of the characters , but at least you can still play the game :)

i found a solution. I asked axilirate personally and he seid i should try to switch to open beta. go to ur library -> megaloot -> Properties -> beta -> and switch it to public testing branch
