didn't work well in coop and wasn't used that much in late game, also some players avoided it completely.

and design wise, it is supposed to "help" you in tough situations, but id rather balance it in a way where you don't need to rely on conversion.

I'm sorry, but some players still rely on it. I'd rather have it back. Without it, the one time revival is completely pointless. So you might as get rid of revival retry as well, as we'll just die again.

Please stop rewriting the rules.

lmao!
you are raving.
there's no such thing as "rewriting the rules" - it's his game, and he shall and will do as he pleases. and he's quite right. late game I rarely, if ever, used the convert. and I cannot say that I miss it now that it is gone. it was definitely a wise move to remove it from the roster

and the one time revival is definitely not pointless, it has still helped me out in a lot of tricky situations...

And how am I supposed to be able to beat a team of enemies that completely floored me the first time?

Just because you didn't need it, doesn't mean no one needs it. I actually found good use in converting items, because it helps my chances to win a difficult battle during the one-time revival retry. Without it, you will just lose again because you're battling the same exact sets of enemies. No convert to get stronger, no need to revive at all. It's that simple.

Also, I need the Devs opinion, not a random player's, over this.

Please don't get me wrong but will you, as dev responsible, rather keep on focussing on co-op`? In solo mode conversion was quite lifesaving sometimes, mainly after one-time revival. I am just asking coz I am and always will be a solo player, no interest in co-op. And if you decide to rather neglect solo mode than I am out of the game as in current state without conversion the game's a no-go to me.

Yeah, I also always play solo, never co-op. Even if conversion isn't needed in co-op, it's still needed in solo.

the order in which you attack enemies can determine whether you live or die but in some cases no matter what order you would still lose and thats where conversion comes in also so what if late game no one uses it what about early on. i had a run where i died first enemy because i didnt have a weapon in the shop. i could have lived from gaining extra armor
I used conversion, was really nice to have. I also only play solo so hopefully that isn't being neglected for co-op.
