Only one good build?
Gold/Freeze/Double attack is the only combo that can get me through the early stages, all of the others seems extremely under powered, so the loop become boring really fast.
Tried many different approach but the only thing that seem to scale well is that, is anyone having the same success with another build?

Dodge works very nice till like floor 10 past that gold multi is so low on it its better to swap somting else. Freez is very strong indeed + set that gives items. It would be nice if they scaled sets up based on floor you are on. Or remove em from the pool if your past certain point.

start with Silver/Double and change it later to Ice/Blackthorn
u get trough the start and then get a set with big shields where enemy's kill themself. just kill Spiders and Blood Ghoul first to protect your red health

if u start with Kinno to get Arcanum this Combo is even better
in this case u want to go Swarm - Dazzle - Armor - Armor Shield
every turn blocking 2 attacks makes it easyer

Gold is just to save your live. take something else to kill everything so u don't need saving

I like gold for the neck+ring that scale armor/damage but I'm gonna try that Silver/Double combo.

Tried dodge a bit but had a hard time to scale damage enough, but that was at most 5 runs so I can keep trying

another good combo for later is Demon/double (from Demon Sword)
but then u absolutly need Arcanum or Gold. some enemys do parry round 1 and kill u if u use Demon without protection

with this u kill everything Round 1

it makes no sense freeze gives the highest armor rating in the game. turtle should do that. also every set needs to have full equipment. Theres so many balance issues, where it makes it feel like you cant switch to something different.

early game i like just full silver or if Im lucky early Orion.
But the moment I can throw on full turtle with demonic. its easy sailing until about late 50s.

For 40+ 1 build and 2 character.

TL;DR sacrifice damage, %physical, %power, %faith. True damage against elite (and there will be only elite later) = damage * %physical * %power * %faith. That stack reallllly quickly, and since you already start with 2 attack you can kill front and back row first turn.

Pick the poison guy, grab an extra attack.

First level, wood. Don't upgrade the armor, instead upgrade a training axe to sacrifice for extra damage and equip a wooden sword that you should also upgrade a bit.

After that, full merc for the extra loot (don't upgrade the helmet), iron dagger for a little damage upgrade and swift. Sacrifice either another wooden axe or iron dagger, whatever is the best damage even if you remove the one you equiped.

Then marau helmet (upgrade it asap), life seeker ring (dont upgrade), silver ring (do upgrade), sacrifice a golden sword if possible or golden ring.

Floor4 , sacrifice, golden ring, ring of power, or silver sword that you may or may not equip depending on it's rarity.

Floor 5, grab demo boot and equip. Shouldn't need to upgrade it at this point. (demo, silver, marau - remove swift and equip a silver sword). Remove some merc for silver if your damage is too low.

Floor 6 sacrifice the berserk axe if it's better. If you grab a good hunter torso, sacrifice it to avoid dealing with dodge.

Floor 7 : equip royal boot, demo torso and/or leg, silver helmet, both silver ring, silver sword, and shard of power. Silver, royal, demo with poison = can't take any damage for 10 turns.

From here just sacrifice as usual whatever give you the best return, but sacrifice as little as possible +damage because it's not super worth it. Maybe a second hunter torso at some point. Shard of power, ring of power, demo ring (that you might want to equip to get a full royal set).

Floor 11 make a silver locket - equip and do sacrifice it. You need more faith, since right now it only come from royal and silver ring.

Floor 15 sacrifice bloodedge (+ pen if you need and lot of damage), berserk helmet. You should already have stacked a fair amount of power by now, this will skyrocket your damage.

Floor 30 try to make and equip throngler. There isn't a better weapon.

Floor 60+ stop snoozing and make up, if you see a perfect slave you may want to make sure to kill them in order.

Side note, don't spam space bar for next turn, since the game isn't well done on that regard you can easily get killed somehow even if you are supposed to not take any damage. Just wait for the animation to be fully done.

From floor 10 onwards you can go royal+silver+chromalure.

For Tyr there are Orion builds that work quite well.
Pretty sure, that there are situational builds for different characters, that can work, too.
