Perfect Slaves
Hi everyone. Any Idea how perfect slaves work? They have a skill touch from eden (they cant be evaded; costs 1 mana), 1 mana and an imortality shield that ticks down with turns until its possible to hit them back. however how does that work really? Sometimes they they attack me back while they have shield after i hit em. sometimes I hit their shield and they dont atk me afterwards. Do they only atatck after they were able to use mana for their ability? and how they they sometimes get their mana and their shield back?
As with a lot in the game its is very random and not explained. I dont think ill do another run after my current and third one because its seems you can only get pasts some enemies with certain builds. I found one with my 3rd run but after like 1 hour of achieving the build its just completely boring. Getting some items to use at the blackmarket and repeat. Only checking items quickly for like the 3 you sell in rotation and waiting for 30 attacks to be uesless into those slaves.
I cant say they have a fun mechanic cause having to wait for 4 turn until its possible to hit em and to die if you didnt get tanky enough b4 is just meh. Howeser i would like to understand how they work or if i missed something. Cause i dont want those hours sitting in this run to eventually end and just not understaning it. The sacrificed times is too much to die unknowing. Must be alrdy 7 hours in this run just doint ths same all again...

Edit: And why do slaves in the same fight behave differently ? I hit both with 15 attacks and after the numbers are vanished 1 has mana and the other dont anymore....

Edit 2: And how do i sometimes get armor from my 6 k spark on them and then sometimes i just dont get any armor while hitting them ?

To answer your questions:

They attack every turn, and if they have mana, they will sometimes use their ability.

They don't actually get their mana and shield back - you just are unfortunately fighting two of them in a row, so when the first one dies, a fresh one cycles in.

I haven't found a way to bypass them yet, but yeah, the invulnerability makes fighting them tedious, and they're just annoyances rather than a challenge.

You can only get armor if you don't take damage - there's a debuff next to the purple shield number above your inventory that explains this.

After anything hits you, you get "Ephemeral lock" debuff (purple lock icon). It prevents getting more Ephemeral Armor.

thx for your reply. i figured the armor lock out but still it feels like it didnt work consistently. maybe i didnt see the shadow of the next one lined up behind but i dont know. I think i didnt kill them so another one shouldnt show up. and also the shuffle to front with the "inactivity" of the enemie didnt rly work the same for all. i had demon build so i expected the first row to work the same in round 1 and 2, but it didnt feel like they did behave the same.

My current challenge; i'm too busy ramping power that I don't get enough armour or health to take a hit. I thought I was clever equipping a 'Poor Man' item combined with dodge and demon set; but then I came across one at the end of 60 that was in the back row. Only way I can think of overcoming it is to take the hits; which is a shame as I really got a kick out of thinking I was slick overcoming it the way I did. Gonna sub to the thread for tips I hadn't considered!

Also, I know that people have overcome the challenge because to my surprise I'd only beaten 86% of players (this was 24 hours ago, so that's probably way lower now). What are your sekritz?!1

Running Physical Damage with Throngler 4 Parts Flesh ( 3 armor 1 Ring) 1 Part Demon (ring) 1 Part Turtle (1 Armor)
It works till 60 and you can kill single Perfect Slaves. But if there are at least 2, I get owned.

Tried with the Dark Magical Ring and Flesh armor but i forgot i need the mutlihit, otherwise they can attack. So my next try would be chanigng in this case to Demon for Multihit and Dark Magical Ring for Mana steal.

Wish me luck

I've found it, new patch helps a lot. Stack all the attacks, stack armour percentage, stack dazzle, equip Divine turtle set for Kotya and make sure you have enough accuracy to not miss Jupiter and it's in the bag. Just reached floor 61.

If you grab royal, silver and poison you get 10 turn where you can't take any damage.

Royal on it's own can carry mid game. If you pick the poison hero and +1 hit, you can also grab demo (with a ring for example) for multi hit, allowing to clear first and back row first turn. Maybe switch for 1 royal 4 demo (3 armor + ring) with a demo axe late game before you get the second best weapon if you are short on damage. You don't even need to upgrade the armor, beside for the money.

Basically, you only need to keep stacking damage, %phys damage, %power, and bonus vs elite. Since they boost each other you can reach stupid amount of damage.

From here, the worse case could be 8 perfect slave behind each other (4x2). And even if it happen, you kill the first one turn 3, then turn 4/5/6 you kill the first row, before killing by turn 7/8/9/10 the slave behind.
You can only die if you get more than 8 slaves. But im around floor 80 or so and i'v yet to see 5 monster on the first row.

And monster barely have 1b or 2b hp compared to the 250b+ you can do at this point.

I had killed couple slaves with Throngler, physical damage+elements and demonic\turtle set with 1 orion amulet. But i died cuz i forgot to change amulet (normally I used silver (faith) amulet for Kotyas) later on 61 or 62 floor

Hi, thats what my problem in the top mentioned run was too. i reached lvl 74 but mechanics felt inconsistent and the only solution to get further seemed to be to just be more tanky. Someone mentioned poison, but can poison get through imortality? I expected poison only to work vs shield, so how would it be able to kill slaves 1st round, when they are immortal for 3 rounds? didnt play since those 3 rounds at the launch day so maybe patches changed stuff?

Grab silver (remove debuff for 2 turn), poison (can't take any damage, but half of the damage is instead taken as poison debuff) and royal (debuff you, and if you remove that debuff you are immune to any debuff for 10 turn, including poison).

Grab someone who start with poison so you can get another set bonus.

You are invincible for effectively 11 turns, so you can't die. Assuming you one shot them. it's not hard when you can just focus on attack.
