Same for me. Tried it as a dodge build in my 2nd chance with 200 energy, but it's not dodgeable.
In the first try i had electric + glimmer but if you can't get a hit out and get killed after it's useless.
Think that is broken, if nearly all build do not work against them,
If "2 at once" is your problem, whenever you see such situation, go "full offence" and swap for a devil's set piece (multiattacks into several rows in the first round). Extremely well-combinable with the merc set.
You don't really need the dodge if all the enemies are dead in the first round.
Even more so if you ever want to go past the floor 60. The enemy there is invulnerable for 3 rounds and always hits you, ignoring dodge/barrier/gamedesign theory. Guess what is the only build to survive that.
I hadn't tried it, but if the hunter set isn't available, you could try the waiting action instead, assuming you have enough energy to dodge and counter them to death.
