I know you guys read this forum, so I just want to say thank you for this game. I bought it for my friend and I a couple of days ago because mars rovers and we have been having an absolute blast driving them around and talking about all of the possibilities this game has in store for it in the future. I'm already trying to get some other friends that are into astronomy to buy the game too.

Even though I think The Last of Us is a masterpiece, I think Take on Mars will end up being my Game of the Year instead, if only because there is so much more to this game that creates sparks in the imagination and because of the huge grin I've had on my face the entire time I've played it.

Very serious! I love shooters and Grand Theft Auto clones and great stories in games as much as the next guy, but I think it's amazing that this game is so simple a concept as "driving a rover around Mars" and has managed to capture the interest of my friend and I so well. It's a great testament to how games can take something that people in real life are utterly fascinated with (Mars, rovers, other planets, etc), apply it to a video game and make something really awesome out of it without it turning into something like Red Faction: Guerilla (not that I didn't love that game).

It may end up being good when it's complete, but the Alpha is really trying people's patience with the high failure rates over short periods of time. Hope they have a rabbit in the hat for the remainder of Alpha and the Beta. I too would like to say thanks - I'm just topped up on frustration at the moment and unable to.
