How to have daytime?
I play a multiplayer game with my friend but working is only effective until dusk, and it seems as if the night lasts way longer than daytime, is there any way I can change it back to daytime, change it to only daytime, or skip time? Please help!

I was gonna ask the very same question. Untill we actually get the generators in the main game, night time is a huge turn off for game play as you can not do much of anything short of building. There should be a way to advance time for those of us that do not want to sit and watch night time go by in real time in the game. My game play is at a total stand still now and its very frustrating.

in 1:60 time just wait a few minutes. In 1:24 keep working and use 'N' for nightvision, or 'L' for flashlight. OH! And a MAJOR PROTIP for finding your friend in the dark; use B for heat vision. They'll glow like a christmas tree. In 1:1 you're crazy for playing long enough to get to that point.

Cheaty way:

>Start TKOM in developer mode by clicking play in the steam client
>Start server
>As server host use the numpad buttons to control better or worse weather or N/S/E/W position of sun. Check dev/debug controls and keybindings for all controls. This does not work at the poles because the north/south polar caps get almost no sunlight.
>????
>Profit

1:60 time ???? 1:24 time ??? I know about the night vision and the flashlights and other camera modes. What Im not getting is any sunlight to power my equipment to do any thing other then run printers and build. I have my building made I need materials to do something other then that now. Thanks for the reply tho. And Im playing in SP not in MP or on a server so that does me no good.

Time skipping works that cheaty way in SP as well. You just have to start the scenario instead of server.

Quick question: in SP is there a way to skip time, by sleeping perhaps?

Thanks!!!

Thanks for all the replies guys! Also, setting the time of game start to morning (daytime) and setting daytime scale to 1:1 makes daytime a whole lot longer! :spacerunplanet: :starsandstripes:
