Every potato died
After a few month break, I check TKOM and build a base. In a fully airlocked room, I set up a potato incubator and fill it with martian soil, attach a canister water and an other canister human waste and then plant potato seeds. All died. I tried many-many times, but no success. Then I remove the hum.waste barrel and put the mars soil barrel back. But same result.
What is the new requirement to grow potato successfully?

lol sounds sad that everyone died
randomly reminds me of portal 2
Place down the hydroponic machine, attach a barrel of mars soil and water, drag/drop the seeds and right click to plant them. Also helps to have full barrels as the soil fills the machine. There does seem to be a percentage chance as to whether or not the seeds will grow. Not sure if you need a light source as well as I think I saw a video where someone had them setup outside.

I've had some seeds die on me using this setup but a majority of them will grow. Also I think with human waste you're suppose to take it to the refinery to turn into fertillizer which I don't think is coded yet.

Thank you!
You are right, when I set up hydroponic machine, the first time I attached a not full mars soil barrel. But later I attach a new one with full of soil. But it didn't use any measure of soil and water anymore... But all (100%) of potatos were died.

If I understand you, I have to put this whole hydroponic machine to the garbage, print a new one and fill it with a FULL barrel of soil for better chance of growing potatoes?
Unfortunately sounds like the soil and waste broke the machine. So yeah going to have to dump the first one and start with a new one. Skip attaching a barrel of waste as it's not needed.

Thank you for the answer! Only two pack of seeds left, so wish me luck with the new machine! ;)
