Chapter 2: Manned Mission question
So I have a bit of a question: Is the new manned mission update targeted more towards players who have already played the scenarios/other 'manned' stuff? I only ask because I mostly played the robot missions then stopped to wait for chapter 2 and now I'm having quite a difficult time understanding what the game wants.

*spoilers ahead*

For example, when I'm back on mars after the moon flashback and I've gone to the first supply drop, I'm not sure if I need to 'load' the supply drop and take it back to the crash zone, or if I'm supposed to deploy all the stuff on the spot.

For that matter, I'm not even sure how to 'deploy' things in the first place. I took both the extractor and generator out hooked them up and the objectives aren't updating. Is this a bug or am I missing a step?

This is kind of what I'm talking about. I feel that if you've only played the robot section as I have, you're going to have real big problems understanding what's going on exactly. It would be nice if the devs added a few tooltips/hints here and there to help people along.

I was having lots of fun with this update, up until the point where I spent the last 10mins trying to figure out how to get the objective to update >_>

Well, there is extensive training program, which will teach you everything, so why not give it a try :). There are few hints in the campaign to help you out, but having completed the training surely helps most.

Construction is basically using a construction tool, but if you're having trouble with it the training is probably the way to go. The strategic decision on where to deploy it is up to you, though after you have all the pods you'll pretty much know the right answer. You could also take a look at the datapad, as it has the inventory of all the drops, and that's the critical clue to how you should set this up (look it over and consider what devices you need to power and what devices you have to do the powering). If you ask again I'll tell you, but I don't want to spoil it as these sorts of decisions are a big part of the challenge.

One hint on another aspect though that's less obvious: grab some empty crates and throw them in the back of the truck. When you come across loose supplies like water and food, take the crate out of the truck and set it down next to them then open the crate inventory and fill the items from the ground - you may need to walk around the crate a bit to get them all. Then load it back on the truck. Otherwise you'll be overwhelmed with loose items you need to get to the poptent.
