Enforcer triggers
Total noob here. I'm a little confused as to what things you can hack that trigger enforcers to spawn. I ended up completely screwing myself on a mission because two of them showed up after I hacked a couple of things, and they cut me off from my escape route.

Things infected with a Validate demon will spawn additional guards. You can't tell what a daemon is going to be unless you use Deckards augment or hack the facilitys daemon database- but you can tell if something is inflicted by a daemon by looking at the border of the ice level, or highlighting the thing you want to hack.

Enforcers will also spawn regardless if the alarm level goes to high
So the border will be different if there is a daemon inside it when viewing the object from Incognita, that's good to know.

But where can I find the daemon database for a facility? I don't think I've encountered one yet, or if I have, I don't know what it looks like.

it's basically like a big cube with flashy lights on it. It's hackable and if you highlight it the game will tell you what it is. Server boxes also come in the form of facility maps, so don't get the two confused.

Often, hacking the terminal for unlocking the lockboxes at a safe will also spawn in an enforcer that's gonna check the area, if i'm not mistaken (it's been a while). Knocking out an executive also spawns a enforcer after a while, who will check up on the executive's current location.

And yeah, stuff with daemons in them will look different in the hacking menu. Except if you trigger the daemon that hides the presence of deamons on hackable items, then it's all question marks.

You were right, hacking vault terminals always spawns an enforcer. Good thing to remember.

Too late, I'm already confused. This game really needs a manual.
