Scarlett and Gender Bending DLC?
Anyone else feel like paying hard cash for a DLC that lets you play as a female dragon would be kind of cool? Not for the sole reason of being able to court Scarlett (but mostly that..) but also to see 4 (maybe 5 this time..) equally sardonic princes trying to woo you with their one-liners at the bridge?

I approved gay marriages in-game but felt left out when i wasn't allowed to be gay with my one true love.. Scarltt :( Hell couldn't the male dragon have worked something out between the elf princess and scarlett? We could have totally made that work...

I'm also left wanting that there was (spoiler) no imp princess :( They could have dressed up a male imp and pretended he was a princess, his whole character arc could have been based on you finding out he was a man but confessing your undying love for him all the same, and rubbing in silver-bloods face all the while </3

EDIT::

nevermind. There's a folder called 'mods' i didn't see. TURNS OUT WE CAN JUST MOD THIS IN ;D the voice acting will be fun won't it? ;)

I wish there was an option for gay marriage... maybe DLC? Because hell, I'm a dragon I should be able to hump whoever I want! :D:

I think that making such a thing where you can play as a female Dragon Knight is too cost-prohibitive for mere DLC. They couldn't even afford a 5th Princess, and the generals don't seem quite as fleshed out as they could be.

It woudl certainly be interesting, and I'd pay for it. I just don't think it would be too feasible for them...They would need to create new models, record new dialogue, etc etc...Although, they could flip-flop models. Diplomats become the princes, princesses the diplomats (except for the lizards, Edmund could be the prince and Camilla the lizard general), but I'm not too sure how well that would go over.

Maybe, waaaaay down the line we could see it, but I personally kind of doubt it.It'd be cool though.

I'm all for DLC that expands on the story. I'd bet money we'll see DLC in the form of extra campaigns in the future.

What'd be equally great is the ability to create your own campaigns. But games usually have to be built from the start to support this kind of stuff, alas.

Hey man, that's racist.

But true.

Creating your own compaign would be awesome...

I wonder if we'll get DLC campaigns where we fight other Dragon Knights, though. Other's existing have been refrenced in the world, just not in Rivellon. I'd like to try some battles again enemy Knights. I suppose I could also just play multiplayer, but, I don't feel like getting destroyed by other players.

When it comes to DLC, I'd like the Princesses and Generals to have more issues to be resolved even after their character arcs are completed.

(And also straight princes, gay princes and lesbian princesses. Or, if that'll cost too much, go the Dragon Age 2 route of bisexual princes and princesses.)

Actually, I'm sure I heard that Larian is aganst DLC on the official forums.

Don't be confused -- The Imperial edition only has DLC in it's name for convenience with the steam store.

Didn't Divinity II get an expansion DLC though? Flames of Vengeance, I think? If that is the case, though, that's disappointing, but oh well. Just leaves more room for bored writers like me to have some fun.
Stabbey Aug 7, 2013 @ 8:52am
Flames of Vengeance was an expansion pack to finish the story off. This game might possibly get an expansion pack, and Larian has said they hope to get AI Dragons working. If the AI Dragons are half as good as the Unit AI, we're doomed.

This could all be fixed if there was some mod support involved... Imagine it, endless amounts of user created campaigns, maps, skill trees, hardcore modes, pretty looking FX on new spells, INFINITE UNITS.

That'd look pretty good as a back'o'the'box quote wouldn't it larian? eh? *wink*
I'd totally pay for it if money was a worry. Kickstart mod support? Later on when sales and intrigue are at its peak im pretty sure it would be a success given its 1) an RTS and 2) a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful game.

Larian are oldschool individuals -- Expect expansion DLC similar to Dragonborn from Skyrim.
