How does the Corvus mechanic work?
What happens when I let him eat dreams?

The population in your territories decreases by 20%, Corvus' power grows by 5% and you get a couple level 4 mercenary cards.

What about the other options Corvus gives you?

Sacrificing a wife gives you 4 cards (level 4, possibly 5) and increases Corvus' power by 10%. It is mostly just useful if you want to go through the story arc of another wife.

Adjusting your standing will boost your popularity with a specified faction by 20% (doesn't count towards the requirements for faction arcs), decrease the population of another faction by 5% and increase Corvu's power by 5%.

What does the Corvus' power stat do?

You will find out in act 3. Since he is a demon, having him become more powerful doesn't help you, especially since he is imprisoned in the ship you intend to destroy at the end of the war. That said, making deals with him doesn't make a huge difference in moderation; I assume there would be difficulties if you visited him every other turn in act 2.

i did complete the game on easy and gived corvus the ultimate power and sacrificed 2 wifes to him and yes the game did become very hard but not that hard so i felt i could not win

(now im playing a new game again) to see what happens when i just ignore him instead of talking with him evrytime and agree to all his insane deals

also this time no Imps will ever get sad again i promise them :)
