HOW DO I CHEAT?

I could care less about the rts mechanics in this game, i'm only in it for the story and want to cheat my way through as painless as possible.

I know there were cheatengine scripts back in the day but i can't seem to find a recent one.

I don't know of any cheats (haven't looked, though). If you play on casual, build taverns in the first act and pass turns to delay the end (there is a cap on how much gold and unused research points you can bring into act 2, but not cards), there shouldn't be much need for cheats (though they would be faster).

Well all those research points and gold are 4 byte.
Unit number (On global map) is 2 byte.
CE this one is easy.

Just put the game settings on casual/slowest, upgrade your dragon and build taverns as much as you can.

Then when in battle just capture resource points and wait till you get your dragon and kill the whole enemy army with him.

I did this on the final battle with a 2% chance to win because on casual your dragon is super op.

When you have to use other generals to fight, just use your mercs to buff your army so the chance of win is high.

i saved when i took everything but the last place and just circled it with units killing everything they made. this is a good way to see all thier story. you can just give them to demon when you finished one of thier stories it won't effect how they act. just keep a save before this if you want. figting is easyer if you use your generals and just keep adding units untill your % is higher. late game it gets to hard to win with the dragon since the ai cheats horrably if you don't win the board in the first 5min.

p.s. if you want to cheat look into cheatengine. you can even find cheats for most games with it or learn basic hax editing and do some of it yourself. its harder if games don't have a number to look for.
