Imperial edition and 4 pack ?
How different are those compared to the vanilla version ?

The Imperial Edition includes a golden dragon skin, a Dragons on Earth campaign map, a digital soundtrack by award-winning genius Kirill Pokrovsky, and behind the scenes information like concept art, classified design documents, confidential decision tree flowcharts and a unique documentary.

Basically, the differences are minimal;
  • Golden Dragon skin - Doesn't affect gameplay at all, so who cares?;
  • Digital soundtrack - I've bought it on GOG, it's currently -90% off there;
  • Dragons on Earth campaign map - Some change, playing the original maps gets somewhat old and boring after a while;
  • Behind the Scenes documentary - I don't care at all, so..;
  • Ten artworks of Divinty: Dragon Commander - Featuring Ophelia in all three forms, Rivellon, Bomber Balloon, Dragon, and the Council;
  • Thirteen low resolution avatars of Divinity: Dragon Commander - Featuring Dragon, the representative of each race, four more times Ophelia, and the original background;
  • Five wallpapers of different resolutions - Two dragons fighting each other, three forms of Ophelia, dragon leading his forces and taking over the land, two forms of Ophelia, and the original background.
    The resolutions are (1280x1024, 1600x1200, 1920x1080) in .jpg formats.

The catch is, you can't buy the Imperial Edition upgrade on GOG and convert it to Steam.
If you wanna play Divinity: Dragon Commander with Imperial Edition, you'll have to buy it on Steam (it never gets on sale, so.. Uhmm.. Maybe don't, unless you're rich or dunno what to do with money) or buy the entire game with Imperial Edition on GOG, install GOG client and play the game from GOG.

GOG and Steam don't work with each other, I may add.
There is an option to link Steam and GOG accounts with each other in GOG client, but it's a mess.

Anyway, if the Imperial Edition upgrade on GOG is -90% off, then the Imperial Edition of the game must be also around -90% off.
I'd have recommended it for those 5€ just for the soundtrack alone, but I'd never recommend you to play the game from GOG client.
It's not like you can link any other games from GOG, and you must launch the games from GOG client seperately - Launching them from the desktop doesn't work for some unknown reason for me.

Thanks. I did a search and found out that 4 pack is basically 4 copies of the game bundled together.

So, guess just that extra campaign map makes the imperial edition the superior version.(And I personally like behind the scenes videos and design documents so, that's another plus.)
