Fight every battle mod/cheat?

So I know this game is pretty much dead but if I'm not the only one left, there used to be a script/CE Table/ or mod that let you take command of every battle instead of having to pick a general. Does anybody have that or know how to recreate it? The AI fights suck.

Custom Campaigns have an option to let you fight in RTS for every battle. You should probably be playing Custom Campaigns anyway because you can tweak the rules fairly substantially, which alters how the game plays.
