GAME WON´T START ?

Hello fellow players, i had the problem that the game didn`t start anymore.after the intro video ( spiders and focus) it just seemed to load a second an chrashed to desktop.after some research i found this site :

it really helped me out,for me , the remove the graphicconfing.txt and default.profile at documents/bound by flame did do the trick.also, you can try to repair the vcredist.i did that before.but i didn`t work out.maybe it was the combination of both or not , not sure . I hope this helps!

edit: turns out it´s the shadow setting.if you change this setting to ultra the game chrashes, all other settings are fine.
