Game crash on start up

Hello all this is the third game form this companys ive puchased (the other being of orcs and men)

i also purchased the styx game

whenever i do a fresh install this game it works and is generallyt a good game

but once i relaunch it, it goes to a blue screen and doesnt exit

i imagine it must be a coding problem of some sort as orcs and men does the exact same thing, sicne styx (wich seems to run on a different engine) works fine

anyways anyone have this issue and fixed it ?

would really like to play this game

I seem to be in the same place. I just bought the bundle with this, Mars War Logs, Of Orcs and Men, and Faery and NONE of them will start at all and I don't have a problem with any of the other games I have (hundreds of them). This is really frustrating!!!!

It could also be a direct x issue, had a game i just bought give me the same trouble, but i put it into direct x 9 mode and it worked fine(my card supports d11 "shrugs")

unfortunately cant seem to find a way to do it to these games

THIS WORKED FOR ME
Bound by Flame Crashes on Startup
If your game is being crashed on the startup without any error message, try starting it in the windowed mode. You can do this by editing the config file which can be found in My Documents/Bound By Flame/.

Open the file, and set the value of windowed mode to 1. If that doesn’t work, make sure that the game is installed in the default steam directory

There's no config file for me in this directory
