Chapter 2 > 3 transition bugged?

Hi all,

At the end of Chapter 2 in Caraldthas I was supposed to let the drawbridge down for the human/elf army to get into the city. Edwen disagrees and takes off, I kill the concubine and fight Blackfrost for a bit.

Then I get a cutscenes where Vulcan talks to the demon and all of a sudden I'm in some evil realm looking to get into Blackfrost's Palace.
Nothing about a drawbridge or retaking the city with the army. I have no idea how I got here story-wise.

Is this supposed to happen or is it bugged? Because it's really jarring :/

I don't have a fresh memory of the game but I'm pretty sure that's just what happens. Towards the end, the game starts to feel like someone was told it was time to wrap it up and a lot of things that one would've expected to find are not there. I don't want to spoil you anything, but you'll know what I mean.

So basically yes, you transition that abruptly into the third act. It's not a bug.

I'm at the final bossfight now and I known what you mean. Blackfrost's Domain feels as if it was a bit rushed during development.
