Happy Ending? *spoiler*
Is there no happy ending?
I chose the "good" character path, not giving the demon more space. Yet, at the end I can only choose between "Sacrifice yourself to save the world!" and "Don't sacrifice yourself, weaken the Ice Lords and keep watch over the World!", and while Mathras sums up what happens to the world and the companions after the Sacrifice Ending, there is no special scene when I choose the other option. No conclusion, just the credits. I really had hoped for more. :/
Did I miss something?

They want the Sacrifice ending to be official because it's very poetic (according to them). IMO, the best ending is the other ending with the PC keeping watch but that's apparently not heroic enough to merit an epilogue

All Demon endings has no epilogue either :/ Feel pretty rushed and disappointing though :/

Since it auto saves at the end I did both endings. Both are kind of a let down.

So what are the demonic endings?

It's especially strange as Mathras says in the Sacrifice Ending, that a couple of hundred years later another group of mages does the same as the Ice Lords, even though the Sacrifice Ending is supposed to be the "good" ending. Now, If Vulcan had kept watch that could have been prevented, ultimately making the "Don't sacrifice yourself!" the better Ending. I really don't get it.

well that was implied with the bad ending that if the world wasn't purged with fire there would be more humans in the future that would seek it's power. Also if you rejected the demon half vulcan would have stayed mortal essentially so he would not be alive hundreds of years.

Yeah but even after the second good ending, where he simply weakens the Icelords and fights on, it says he has become the most powerful being in Vertiel, has he pretty much absorbed the demons power in the end.
