General guide for beginners :)

Hi guys. Just finish my second playthrough and I'm still enjoying this game. Though it can be pretty tough for beginners so here are some tips to make your life a bit easier in Bound By Flame: :)

- Use fire spells, they are extremely useful (the one I used most are flame weapon and Fire Wave trees). I focus on skills that increase MP/ MP regen, and reduce casting time. Many thought that using fire spell will turn you into demon. It's not true. I played a hero with max out fire skill tree. The "demon choices" that you make in game turn you into flame demon, not the skills.

- Warriors strongest point (imo) are interupt (upgrade and skills boost this) and health regeneration. Rage is also very useful. Invest in those trees if warrior is your main fighting style. Also crossbow is very useful to deal with range troops so make sure you always have few bolts in your bag. Also blocking is vital so you should try to master block timing asap.

- Rogues are the most exciting to play imo. Fast damage, stealth back stab can even one shot enemies with proper skills. Lack health regen boost skills so they are not good with taking damage though. Learn enemies attack pattern and time your dodge and you will be fine.

- Turning into flame demon will melt your armor and make you unable to wear helmet. It will reduce your defence and ice resistance but inturn boost your fire spell abilities. So in sort, turning flame demon = glass cannon. Imo, Warrior - Hero and Rogue - demon combo work best.

- Imo, try to mix things up. I usually have some skills from all 3 trees because each fight style has its own advantage in certain situation. What I did was with my skills points is sth like this: 45% to Fire (mandatory), 45% to main fighting style, and 10% to the other.

Anyhow, that's just my own experience, you can play however you want, no pressure. :) If you have anything to add please feel free to share :)

Cool, ty for the tips. Could you clarify a little bit about getting more demonlike though, will you be only restricted in wearing helmets or will you be unable to torso armor etc too?

You will only unable to equip helmet. You can still wear armor but one shoulder will be melt off and replace by flame on you body :)

Great tips, thanks. I had intended Warrior-Hero and Demon-Ranger for my first and second playthroughs, so it's good to get some confirmation that those are the best combos.
